Who is eligible for these scholarships?
The Athletes Club, Athletic Integrity, and Senior Portrait of an Athlete Scholarships are awarded to gentlemen high school athletes who are graduating from high school in Wayne County Ohio and Coppell Texas. Pay it Forward Scholarship are where you can nominate your honorable high school athlete!
What criteria are used to evaluate candidates?
The board of officers reviews each candidates general character and integrity as well as involvement in church activities and volunteer programs. Individuals are chosen on merit for the Athletes Club, Athletic Integrity, and Portrait of an Athlete Scholarships.
How much of my donation goes toward the scholarship funds?
100% off all cash donations go directly to the scholarship funds. All administrative costs are paid for by other benefactors.
Can I apply for these scholarships?
The Athletic Integrity and Pay it Forward Scholarships are the only scholarships that can be applied for. All other scholarship winners are board selected. You may apply for these Scholarships by sending a letter of recommendation to PO Box 517, Rittman Ohio, 44720.
How long has the Empire Trust been awarding scholarships for?
The ETF was founded in 2004. We have been awarding the Club Scholarship since then, while the Athletic Integrity Scholarship was new in 2011.
What kind of donations do you accept for the fundraising sales?
Donations of antiques and lightly used newer items are accepted and appreciated.
